This was great! Saved me over 150$ buying a new key from the dealership. I brought the key to the dealership to get programmed, they did it in about 35 minutes and I was off! The key did not come cut, so it was clear that it had not been fitted for a previous vehicle.
No problems whatsoever programming it. You will need to take your car to a dealership or locksmith. Unless you have a tool like the one I use. I have an XTool D8S. With that you don't have to use the Jeep/Chrysler wiring. Just use the cable that comes with it and plug into the OBD2 port. And even though the tool tells you to use the Jeep/Chrysler wiring just click next and then add a key. Then it will tell you to hold the key you want to program next to the start/stop button and press unlock on the key. Wait about 30 seconds and it will tell you done. It is beyond easy to do.
A good product and it works, I bought it for my 2018 jeep compass limited. 2 thumbs up!!!
