Keyless2Go Certified Locksmith Network Code of Conduct.

By joining the Keyless2Go Certified Locksmith Network program, to provide the best possible customer experience, you agree to abide by the following Program Standards:  
 

Customer Engagement and Business Growth 

Locksmiths are encouraged to upsell and cross-sell additional products, seek referrals, and directly market services to customers during service interactions. These actions are encouraged to help enhance customer relationships and grow your business while maintaining the standards of the Keyless2Go program. 
 

Use of Keyless2Go Products 
As a Keyless2Go Certified Locksmith, you are required to use the customer supplied Keyless2Go products provided when a cut and/or program job is received. Substituting with alternative or third-party products without good reason, such as a defective product, is not permitted. Upselling an additional key or product from your own stock is encouraged, preferably Keyless2Go, but that is not required for add-on sales.   

No Additional Charges 
Keyless2Go Certified Locksmiths must abide by the pre-set and agreed upon program installation fee(s) shown in the price schedule below. Upcharges are not allowed. The goal of the program is to provide clear and upfront pricing to the customer at time of purchase. To maximize customer satisfaction, adherence to this policy is paramount. 

Response Time 
Locksmiths are encouraged to respond to customer installation requests within one business day of receiving the request. Prompt communication is essential to maintain high service standards.

  
Job Completion Timeline 
Locksmiths are expected to complete non-emergency installations in a timely manner after the customer requests service. If any delays arise, it is important to communicate promptly with the customer.   

Punctuality and Attendance 
Locksmiths should arrive on time for all scheduled installation appointments. If any scheduling issues arise, it is important to provide advance notice to the customer. Tardiness or missed appointments without prior communication may negatively affect your rating in the Customer Review System. Please note, maintaining a satisfactory rating is required for continued participation in the program.   

Non-disparagement 
Locksmiths agree not to make any negative or disparaging remarks about Keyless2Go or their products in any communications with customers.

Updates and Modifications 

These Program Standards are effective as of September 13, 2024, and are subject to change. Any modifications will be communicated to installers in a timely manner. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any revised terms. Failure to comply with these standards may result in termination from the program.

Installation Price Schedule

Highlights:

• It is important to note that the programming fees do not include the price of the key, the mobile service charge (if applicable), or an all-keys-lost charge.
• Please note that the pricing below is for simple run-of-the-mill key makes. For the time being, we will not be offering pre-paid services for vehicles that require flashing, pass-thru, dealer software, etc.
• This will be for standard, non-euro vehicles that can be programmed with common tools such as a Smart Pro, AutoProPAD, IM508, IM608, SmartBox, KM100, etc.
• We strongly encourage you to take this customer that we send you and convert them into your own customer, request referrals, etc.

The pricing below is what we will pay you for each type of job:

Pricing is strictly for add-a-key services. All-keys-lost is not included.

This pricing is only for relatively simple vehicles that can be programmed using common key programming tools. It does not include European vehicles or those requiring flashing or dealer software. We will not be offering a prepaid service for these at launch. If added in the future, they will cost more due to their complexity and the need for specialty tools.

Please remember these prices will be what we pay you and we will not take any commission off them.

Keyless2Go Warranty Program

Wrong key shipped to the customer or key will not program: 

• If you have a replacement key in your shop or on your truck, we encourage you to cut and program that key and we will ship you a Keyless2Go replacement at no charge. 
• If you do not have the correct key available, you will be paid the full cutting and programming fee at that time, and we will ship a replacement to the customer. When you program the replacement key, we will pay you ½ the initial programming fee that you received plus a $50 mobile service fee if you are required to go to the customers location. 

Remote stops working within the 1-year warranty period: 

The customer will file a warranty claim, a replacement will be shipped, and we will match them with the locksmith who initially performed the work. 

• The locksmith performing the work will be paid ½ the programming fee that they were paid for the initial installation plus a $50 mobile service fee, if required. 

Based on your feedback, we have decided to hold off on offering AKL services until we see how well the program works.
